Eligibility

1. The candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or complete this age on 31st December of the year of admission.

2. The candidate should have completed the two years intermediate, HSC or equivalent course thereof, with science subjects viz. English, Physics, Chemistry and biology from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University.

3. The candidate should have secured not less than 60% of marks on the aggregate of physics, Chemistry and biology in the qualifying or competitive examination conducted on similar lines as the qualifying examination conducted by a competitive body.

4. The candidate should be medically fit.




 

Pass in MBBS Degree Course from a MCI recognized Institutions / University internship should have been completed by 30th April of the year of admission. Eligibility

(a) A Pass in +2 with any subject, the percentage of marks is 40% as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council.

(b) Those who have cleared 10 +2 Vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

(c) ANM training i.e 10 +1 ½ years training should also have passed +2 its equivalent examination.In addition to the above, admission procedure can be laid down by concerned State Nursing Council / Nursing examination Boards (S.I.B.E, M.I.B.E, C.M.A.I)

Admission of married candidates are allowed.

(a) Higher Secondary school certificate examination (12 years course)

(b) Senior school certificate examination (10+2), pre-degree examination (10 +2)

(c) An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized board, or University with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE). For SC/ST candidates 40% aggregate marks.

The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc., Nursing / B.Sc., Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc., Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks studied in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council,5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

The candidate should be Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council.Minimum one Year of work experience after Basic B.Sc., Nursing.

The candidate should register their provisional degree in the Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council, Chennai.

The work experience will be calculated from the date of registration received from the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai.

In case of Non – Tamil Nadu candidates, they must register in the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai.

Eligibility

(a) The candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. The candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually also.

(b) Candidates who have completed Pre-university course with Vocational Physiotherapy as their optional subject are eligible for admission to BPT course.

(c) A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy course should have completed 17 years of age, as on 31 st December of the year of admission.

(d) Every candidate before admission to the course shall furnish to Principal of the Institution a certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Government Medical Officer to the effect, that the candidate is physically fit to undergo Physiotherapy course.

Candidates who have passed B.Sc. (PT) of BPT degree with minimum 3+ years duration from university in India or abroad as equivalent with not less than 50% of marks in aggregate and have completed 6 months of compulsory rotating internship in a recognized Physiotherapy College are eligible

The Candidates with a PG degree in Physiotherapy i.e., MPT degree awarded by this University or a Master’s degree considered as equivalent are eligible for enrollment to Ph.D course in Physiotherapy under Medical faculty. The admission as per university norms.

Eligibility

A pass in HSC Examination ( 10+2 curriculam of the Government of Tamilnadu)

A pass in any examination of any university or authority accepted as equivalent to the above qualification with a minimum

Number of attempts to pass the qualifying examination and improvements for all the courses coming under medicine will be adopted as per the latest Government Orders in force.

Age Limit - Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on December 31st of the year of admission.

Age shall be determined based only on the date of birth as given in SSLC / HSC or an equivalent examination certificate.

In addition to the requirements mentioned above the qualifying criteria assessed through common entrance examination conducted by Meenakshi University shall be followed.

Eligibility

Pass in HSC (Academic) Vocational stream or Diploma in Engineering for Lateral entry.

a) Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

(i) B.E. / B.Tech (or)
(ii) Master's Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts which are prescribed (or)
(iii) M.Sc (5 years) integrated degree program (or)
(iv) B.Sc., (3 years in It related major courses and M.Sc (2years) in IT related major courses.

b) Candidates with section 'A' & 'B' certificates and other similar certificates of professional bodies or societies (e.g., A.M.I.E.) Recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India are considered to be equivalent to B.E. B.Tech. Degree holders only with 2 years regular full time teaching experience / Industrial experience in its relevant field after passing all the subjects. An experience certificates is to be submitted by the candidate

A pass in a Recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration in 10 + 2+3/4 years (or) 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern in any discipline with Mathematics at +2 level and obtained at least 50% (45% for SC / ST reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

A pass in Recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% in the SC/ST reserved category candidates) at the qualifying examination in 10+2+3 years pattern (or) 10+3 years Diploma +3/3 ½ years pattern (or) B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch B.Pharm (or) A.M.I.E. with 2 years full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience in the relevant field after passing all the subjects.

Note:
For part - time courses, the candidates should have (i) a minimum one year work experience and (ii) should be currently employed in or chennai. Candidates admitted through lateral entry in Degree courses are NOT ELIGIBLE except B.E./ B.Tech degrees courses.
