The Department’s main goal is to provide students with instruction and training that meets the highest worldwide standards of quality. The department takes great satisfaction in having a teaching staff that is very skilled, seasoned, and diligent, with a constant commitment to their work. The department is proud to have large, modern laboratories with cutting-edge equipment that makes it easier to perform different synthetic techniques, molecular design, development, and validation of analytical standards. The most recent HPLC apparatus, together with a variety of other state-of-the-art devices, are available in the department. These include a UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, Turbidimeter, Potentiometer, Conductivity Meter, and UV-Chamber etc. The synthesis, characterisation, and biological assessment of polynuclear heterocyclic compounds, as well as the development of methods and the validation of recently marketed formulations utilizing advanced instruments, are the main areas of focus for the department’s research agenda.
