The Faculty of Humanities and Sciences (FHS) at MAHER launched a 21-day Readathon challenge for students in July 2024. The inauguration on July 5th featured a talk on cultural studies by Dr. Sailaja, Head of the Department of English at Stella Maris College, Chennai. The first book was sponsored by Deepa Sundareswari, Principal of the Faculty of Technology (FOT), who also read a poem to start the challenge. Students from the English Literary Club gave readings and presentations, emphasizing the event’s importance. Dean of FHS, Dr. Pushpa Nagini Sripada, welcomed the gathering and sponsored books for the challenge.
