Scholarship

Scholarships play a defining role in promotion of education, advancement of knowledge and research. Scholarship Schemes are offered to students who lack financial support to continue MAHER education. This is done to encourage and facilitate students to work towards achieving academic excellence as well as uplift students from disadvantaged sections of the society who wish to pursue higher education.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidates who have secured 90% or more marks in the qualifying examination, irrespective of the board (for students belonging to communities other than SC/ST).
2. SC/ST students who have secured 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination, irrespective of the board
3. Children of a single parent with an income less than Rs.1, 00,000/- per year.
4. Children of ex-servicemen – personnel who served in Defense Forces in any cadre.
5. Children of MAHER employees.
6. Siblings of MAHER alumnus.
7. Candidates who are to become the first graduate in the family.
8. Physically challenged candidates.
9. MAHER alumnus applying for post-graduation.

1. Children of a single parent with an income less than Rs. 1, 00,000/- per year.
2. Children of ex-servicemen – personnel who served in Defence Forces in any cadre.
3. SC/ST students who have 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination irrespective of Board.
4. Candidates who are to become the first graduate in the family.
5. Students who won in Intercollegiate/State/Regional/National/International level Co- Curricular / extracurricular events (scientific / sports / culturals / literary / Fine arts events) in the previous academic year.
6. Students who have scored an aggregate of 60% and above in the previous academic year/semester Examinations.
