Faculty of Humanities and Science – Induction Programme for the batch 2024-2025 was successfully held on August 8th, 2024, at Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research. The programme commenced with the traditional Thamizhthai Vazhthu, a tribute to Tamil culture and heritage. Following the Thamizhthai Vazhthu, the ceremonial lighting of the Kuthuvilakku was performed.
Dr. P. Sagayaraj, Dean of MAHER- FHS, delivered a heartfelt Welcome Address. His words of encouragement and guidance set a warm and inspiring atmosphere for the new students, emphasizing the values and mission of Institution. The ceremony proceeded with the honouring of distinguished guests and dignitaries. Dr. Krithika, the Pro Vice Chancellor gave the warmest greetings and shared a message that encapsulated the spirit and vision of our esteemed institution. Principal Dr. V. Shanthi’s introduction highlighted the resource person’s expertise and relevance to the students’ academic and professional growth.
The Resource Person delivered an engaging orientation session, offering valuable perspectives and practical advice to the new students. The session covered various aspects of academic life, personal development, and the opportunities available at, Faculties of Humanities and Science. An inspiring Alumnus shared their experiences and success stories in the Institution.
The cultural programme showcased a vibrant display of talent and creativity, featuring performances that celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Institution. The programme included traditional dances, and other performances. The induction program
concluded the event with the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, resource persons, and participants who contributed to the success of the programme.
