Under the patronage of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research, the Department of Community Medicine, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, organized a ‘Fire-crackers Safety Awareness Campaign’ on 24th October 2024 at Government High School, Parandhur village, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event featured a guest lecture by Dr. Jagan Mohan, Director of Surgical Specialties at MMCHRI, who delivered an insightful presentation on firework safety. He highlighted common injuries during festive seasons and offered practical tips for their prevention. The campaign aimed to educate students on the safe use of fireworks and necessary precautions to prevent accidents, promoting a safer festive season for young participants.
