MAHER Scientists Interact with Renowned Biophysicist Prof. Dr. Stephan Grill

On March 7, 2025, a Max-Planck Lecture was held at the Triple-Helix Auditorium, CSIR-CLRI, Chennai, jointly organized by CSIR-CLRI and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences in collaboration with the prestigious Max-Planck Society, Germany.

The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Stephan Grill from the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, Dresden. Speaking on the topic “Physics of Life”, Prof. Grill shared groundbreaking insights into the physical principles underlying the dynamic self-organization of living matter. A distinguished scientist, Prof. Grill is the recipient of several international awards, including the Paul Ehrlich and Ludwig Darmstaedter Prize (2011) and the Raymond and Beverly Sackler International Prize in Biophysics (2015).

Following the lecture, Prof. Grill engaged in a brief but insightful interaction with a team of scientists from MAHER, fostering a valuable exchange of ideas in the field of molecular biophysics.
