International Dance Day Celebrated by FHAS

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, in association with the Students’ Council, celebrated International Dance Day on April 29, 2025, with an energetic and inspiring event dedicated to recognizing students as agents of change through the transformative power of dance.

The celebration paid tribute to dance as a universal language that transcends cultural, social, and geographical boundaries. It highlighted the role of dance in fostering creativity, emotional expression, and unity, while promoting inclusion and cultural awareness across diverse communities.

Dr. V. Ramnath, Principal, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of dance as a powerful medium of connection, joy, and cultural exchange, particularly in a country as diverse as India. His remarks encouraged students to view dance not only as a form of artistic expression but also as a platform for dialogue and societal impact.

The event featured enthusiastic student performances exploring various themes, from tradition and identity to innovation and social awareness. Students showcased their creativity while also expressing admiration for professional dancers who inspire and uplift through movement.

The celebration was further enriched by the presence and participation of the Vice Principal and faculty members of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, who joined in supporting the students and the message of the day.
