The Meenakshi College of Nursing, MAHER, conducted an ERP Refreshment Program on 17th June 2025 to strengthen awareness and understanding of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system among faculty and students.
The session began with an introductory address by Dr. Fabiola M. Dhanaraj, Principal, MCON, who emphasized the significance of ERP in streamlining institutional processes such as student admissions, transfer certificates, biometric tracking, leave applications, attendance, and fee payments. She highlighted how ERP enhances operational efficiency and enables easy access to academic and administrative data.
Mr. G. Sukumar, Assistant DBA, and Mr. Jayakrishnan, Junior Developer from the ERP Department at MAHER, provided a detailed update on the system’s functionality. They addressed common concerns raised by students and faculty and explained the procedural improvements made in the system.
The session familiarized participants with the updated features of ERP, offering hands-on clarity on its usage and benefits. Class representatives, along with 10 faculty members and 25 students, actively participated in the program.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. J. Anitha, Professor, MCON. The program successfully enhanced ERP literacy and encouraged more effective use of the system across academic and administrative activities.
