Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing organized a First Aid and CPR Mock Drill on 16th September 2025 to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in handling medical emergencies effectively.
The session began with Mr. Dinesh Kumar, ISO Coordinator, who explained first aid measures for various emergency situations, emphasizing practical approaches for immediate response. This was followed by Mr. Prasanna Kumar E., IRCF and BCLS Instructor, who conducted a CPR mock drill. He demonstrated life-saving techniques and guided the students through hands-on practice.
The students actively participated by performing return demonstrations, reinforcing their learning and gaining confidence in emergency response. Feedback was collected from the participants and analyzed to strengthen future training sessions.
A total of 50 students benefited from the program, which provided valuable exposure to emergency preparedness and life-saving skills.
