Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences organized a “Yearlong Constitutional Day Celebration” program on 28th October 2025, centered on the theme “Human Rights and the Constitution.” The event aimed to enlighten students on the significance of constitutional values and human rights as the foundation of a just and democratic society.
The session highlighted that the Indian Constitution is not merely a legal framework but a living document that safeguards the dignity, equality, and freedom of every individual. It emphasized that the Fundamental Rights enshrined in the Constitution represent the very essence of human rights, ensuring liberty, justice, and equality for all citizens, irrespective of caste, creed, gender, or religion.
As part of the celebration, engaging activities such as a quiz competition and a poster-making contest were conducted, fostering active participation and creative expression among students. Around 80 students enthusiastically took part in the event and gained valuable insights into the core principles of democracy and constitutional responsibility.
The program successfully reinforced the importance of upholding constitutional values and human rights, inspiring students to become informed, responsible, and socially aware citizens.
