A Cyber Crime Awareness Program was organized on 16th October 2025 at the Auditorium of Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Kanchipuram, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The session was conducted by Inspector S. Prabakar, Cyber Crime Police Station, Kanchipuram.
Inspector Prabakar highlighted emerging cyber scam trends, including matrimonial and job frauds, Telegram investment scams, and fake hotel review schemes. He also delivered a live demonstration on essential cyber safety practices, enabling participants to better understand preventive measures and secure online behaviour.
The session provided valuable insights into current cyber threats and enhanced awareness about digital safety among attendees.
