The Placement Cell of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), in collaboration with Meenakshi College of Arts and Science (MCAS), successfully organized a three-day Placement Training Program on “Employability Skills” for final-year students. The programme was thoughtfully designed to prepare students for a smooth transition from academics to the professional world by strengthening their workplace readiness, communication abilities, and professional confidence.
The training sessions focused on essential employability competencies, including aptitude development, communication skills, interview preparedness, teamwork, and professional attitude. The programme was conducted in an interactive and engaging manner, enabling students to actively participate, reflect on their strengths, and identify areas for improvement.
The success of the programme was enriched through the collaboration with Nirmaan, whose expertise added significant value to the training. The sessions were skillfully facilitated by the resource persons, Ms. Neeraja and Ms. Angel, whose dynamic training style and practical approach kept students motivated and engaged throughout all three days.
A total of 163 final-year students benefited from this comprehensive placement training programme. The initiative played a pivotal role in enhancing students’ employability quotient and equipping them with the confidence and skills required to meet contemporary industry expectations, thereby positively influencing their future career prospects.
