The Department of Anatomy, Meenakshi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute (MMCHRI), conducted an Orientation Programme titled “Triumphs of Anatomy” on 7 January 2026 for Phase I MBBS students of the 2025–2026 academic batch. The programme was designed to familiarize students with the Complete Anatomy App and to enhance their understanding of modern digital tools that support effective learning of anatomical sciences.
The orientation session highlighted the significance of integrating technology-driven resources into medical education, enabling students to visualize complex anatomical structures and strengthen conceptual clarity from the beginning of their professional journey. The session provided practical insights into the effective use of the Complete Anatomy App as a supplementary learning aid alongside conventional teaching methods.
As part of the programme, Phase I MBBS students of the 2024–2025 batch who had secured Distinction and Honors in the University examinations were felicitated in recognition of their academic excellence. The achievers were honored by the Dean, Vice President (Academics), Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy, along with the esteemed faculty members of the department, serving as a source of motivation and inspiration for the newly inducted students.
The orientation programme was both informative and encouraging, setting a positive academic tone for the incoming batch and reinforcing the importance of excellence, innovation, and dedication in medical education.
