he Department of Management Studies, Meenakshi College of Arts & Science in association with the MAHER Placement Cell and International Relations, organized an insightful webinar titled “Computer Graphics and Its Applications” on 16th February 2026 at 11:00 AM in MCAS Lab 1.
The session featured Dr. Siti Khadijah Binti Ali, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia, as the Resource Person. Drawing from her expertise in computer graphics, rehabilitation, robotics, simulation, and animation, she delivered an engaging and technically enriching presentation on the foundational concepts, emerging trends, and diverse real-world applications of computer graphics across multiple sectors.
The programme commenced with Tamilthai Vazhthu, followed by a welcome address and formal introduction of the Chief Guest. Dr. Siti Khadijah elaborated on the transformative role of computer graphics in domains such as multimedia development, healthcare simulation, animation, engineering design, and interactive technologies. The session highlighted both theoretical frameworks and practical industry use cases, offering students a comprehensive understanding of the discipline.
