As part of “RAISE 2026,” the inter-college cultural and sports fest of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), a sports event was conducted on 10th April 2026 at Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI).The event was inaugurated by Dr. K. V. Rajasekhar, Dean, MMCHRI, who encouraged students to actively participate and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.
The programme featured a range of indoor and outdoor competitions, including carom, table tennis, chess, and cricket. Students from all constituent colleges of MAHER actively participated, demonstrating their athletic abilities, coordination, and strategic skills.
The event fostered a vibrant and competitive atmosphere, promoting unity, teamwork, and healthy competition among students from diverse academic backgrounds.This engagement provided students with an opportunity to enhance their physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills, while encouraging active participation in extracurricular activities.
