A Cultural Journey Through Kuala Lumpur – USIM Dental Boot Camp – Day 8

On Sunday, 25th May 2025, participants of the USIM Dental Boot Camp set out on a culturally enriching trip to Kuala Lumpur. The group included Dr. R. Anitha, Deputy Registrar of Administration at MAHER, along with six students—Aashiv Prakash, Bhavishya Prabhu, Ranjana Nataraj, Rajalakshmi Janakiraman, Sharon Jessica, and Harshad Balaji.

The first destination was the iconic Batu Caves and the Murugan Temple, a significant religious and cultural landmark that provided an opportunity to experience Malaysia’s rich spiritual heritage. The group then visited Central Market and Petaling Street, where they explored the vibrant local scene, traditional crafts, and street culture.

The experience continued with a visit to Pavilion Mall and the KLCC Twin Towers, where participants enjoyed the modern urban atmosphere and spent some leisure time in the surrounding park area. The final stop for the day was the KL Tower, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline.

The day concluded with the team returning to Nilai, filled with lasting impressions and a deeper appreciation for Malaysian culture. The trip served as a perfect blend of education, cultural exposure, and group bonding, making it a memorable highlight of the USIM Dental Boot Camp.
