On Monday, 26th May 2025, the final day of the USIM Dental Boot Camp brought the program to a meaningful close with a blend of academic engagement and light-hearted recreation. The participants—Dr. R. Anitha, Deputy Registrar of Administration at MAHER, along with students Aashiv Prakash, Bhavishya Prabhu, Ranjana Nataraj, Rajalakshmi Janakiraman, Sharon Jessica, and Harshad Balaji—began the day with a visit to the Speciality Clinic in Nilai.
There, the group attended an insightful session on Orofacial Pain conducted by Dr. Faezah Rokhani. The session highlighted the importance of understanding orofacial pain, focusing on its diagnosis and various management strategies, adding valuable clinical perspective to the students’ learning experience.
Following the academic session, the team had the opportunity to meet with the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at USIM. During this meeting, the Dean reviewed the week’s activities, engaged the students in a feedback discussion, and officially presented participation certificates to both the students and the faculty member. A brief tour of the university campus was also arranged upon request, bringing the academic portion of the boot camp to a formal conclusion.
In the afternoon, the group celebrated the successful completion of the program with a fun and energizing go-karting session, offering a well-deserved break and a chance to unwind. With that, the week-long USIM Dental Boot Camp concluded on a high note—enriching participants academically, professionally, and personally.
