The Student Nurses Association of Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing organized a vibrant Teachers’ Day Celebration on 6th September 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall, AMCON. The event was marked by great enthusiasm and reverence, honoring the invaluable contributions of teachers in shaping the lives of students.
The celebration began at 10:00 a.m. with the soulful rendering of Tamil Thaivazthu, followed by a warm Welcome Address by Mr. Vigneshwaran, IV Year B.Sc. (N). The Significance of the Day was highlighted by Ms. Nandhini, IV Year B.Sc. (N), who reflected on the legacy of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the importance of Teachers’ Day.
A series of cultural performances brought the event alive, beginning with a graceful solo dance “All Eyes on Me” by Ms. Mathumitha and a melodious rendition by the students. Energetic segments such as the Ice-Breaker Dance by Ms. Priscilla and team, a Fusion Dance by the VI Semester boys, and the spotlight performances including “Wings of Rhythm” and “Boys on Beats” enthralled the audience. A special highlight of the day was “Mic Drop Moments” by the faculty and “Confessions and Courage,” which strengthened the emotional bond between teachers and students. The fun-filled “Gurujis Fun Time” by IV Year students added laughter and joy to the occasion.
To commemorate the celebration, mementos were presented to faculty members, and a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony was held in their honor. The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mr. Joel, IV Year B.Sc. (N), followed by the National Anthem.
The Teachers’ Day celebration at AMCON was truly memorable, filled with gratitude, respect, and admiration, leaving everyone inspired by the timeless role of teachers in guiding and empowering future generations.
