Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON) Participates in Post Budget Webinar 2026–27

Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON), Kanchipuram, actively participated in the live screening of the Post Budget Webinar 2026–27 organized by the Government of India on 9th March 2026 at the Multi-Purpose Hall. The webinar was conducted under the theme “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas – Fulfilling Aspirations of the People,” reflecting the government’s vision for inclusive growth and development.

The session commenced with a special address by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who outlined key policy directions and emphasized the importance of holistic development across sectors. This was followed by a series of thematic sessions focusing on crucial areas such as healthcare, AYUSH, pharma sector reforms, medical infrastructure, mental health institutions, skill development, and education to employment.

A total of 220 participants, including 210 students and 10 faculty and staff members, attended the webinar. The session provided valuable insights into the government’s budgetary allocations and strategic initiatives, particularly those relevant to the healthcare and nursing sectors. The participation enabled students and faculty to gain a deeper understanding of emerging opportunities, policy frameworks, and the evolving landscape of healthcare services, thereby enriching their academic and professional outlook.
