The Student Nurses Association (SNA) of Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing marked the auspicious occasion of Ayudha Pooja with devotion and grandeur on 29th September 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall, AMCON. The traditional rituals were performed between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., invoking blessings for wisdom, knowledge, and prosperity.
The celebration began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Swathi, B.Sc. (N) VI Semester, followed by an inspiring Ayudha Pooja special address by Dr. S. Victor Devasirvadam, Principal, AMCON, who emphasized the cultural and spiritual essence of the festival. Adding further insight, Dr. Raghavendran, Vice Principal, AMCON, spoke on the deeper significance of the day.
To infuse the event with traditional artistry, Ms. Abinaya presented a graceful welcome dance, setting a vibrant atmosphere for the celebrations. The program featured a series of colorful cultural performances by the students, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. As a gesture of recognition, Mr. Dinesh Kumar. R, SNA Advisor, distributed certificates of participation to the performers, encouraging their active involvement.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Jothika, B.Sc. (N) VI Semester, followed by the distribution of traditional sweets and puffed rice, adding sweetness and warmth to the festive spirit.
The celebration was a harmonious blend of tradition, devotion, and togetherness, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
