The Chennai District Powerlifting Competition was held on 5th October 2025 at Spor Loungee, Kanakan Chatram, Ponniammanmedu, Chennai – 110, bringing together talented athletes from across the district to showcase their strength, endurance, and passion for powerlifting.
Ms. Kaavya V. R., a Second-year BPT student of Meenakshi College of Physiotherapy, MAHER, proudly represented the institution in the Deadlift event, demonstrating exceptional performance, determination, and discipline. Her relentless effort and commitment to the sport earned her the Second Place, marking a proud moment for both her and the college.
The competition not only celebrated individual excellence but also promoted fitness, sportsmanship, and women’s participation in strength sports.
