The Commemoration of Constitution Day 2025 was observed on September 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Multipurpose Hall of Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON). The program began with the rendition of Tamizh Thai Vazhthu, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. Ruba Sri, B.Sc. (N) IV Year.
Dr. S. Victor Devasirvadam, Principal of AMCON, unfolded the theme of the day, emphasizing the significance of constitutional values. Mrs. S. Uma, Associate Professor, delivered an insightful presentation on the structure of Parliament and its committees. Under the theme “Legislative Awareness,” the IV Year B.Sc. (N) students enacted a parliament activity in the form of a workshop, which was further enriched by panel discussions highlighting the diverse functions of Parliament.
An engaging session on the State Legislature was delivered by Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, adding depth to the program. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Elakiya, Library Assistant, followed by the National Anthem.
The commemoration fostered awareness and understanding of democratic processes, inspiring students to value and uphold constitutional principles in their daily lives.
