Day 3 of Navaratri at MAHER: Meenakshi College of Nursing Showcases Divine Harmony of Devotion and Culture

The vibrant spirit of Navaratri continued to illuminate the MAHER campus on 24th September 2025, as the Meenakshi College of Nursing (MCON) participated in the Navaratri Golu celebrations held from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. The event, filled with devotion, culture, and enthusiasm, brought together students and faculty in a joyful celebration of tradition and faith.

The celebration carried the blessings of Founder Chancellor Thiru. A.N. Radhakrishnan, M.A., D.Com, and was graced by the presence of Mrs. Jayanthi Radhakrishnan, Chancellor; Mrs. R. Gomathi, Chief Patron; Mr. Akash Prabhakar, Pro Chancellor, and family; Prof. Dr. C. Sridhar, Vice Chancellor; Prof. Dr. C. Krithika, Pro Vice Chancellor; Registrar; and Prof. Dr. V. Sureka Varalakshmi.

Dr. Fabiola M. Dhanaraj, Principal, Meenakshi College of Nursing, participated in the celebration along with two faculty members and 37 students. The program was hosted by Mr. Vishak Raj, who kept the audience engaged and set the tone for the evening. The B.Sc (N) students of MCON presented a series of captivating cultural performances that beautifully reflected the essence of Navaratri.

The highlights of the evening included an elegant classical dance performance by Ms. Pushpanjali and Ms. Kamali, followed by two soulful devotional songs rendered by Mr. Sakthivel, Ms. Nethravathi, and Ms. Alicia Vincent, which filled the hall with serenity and devotion. Ms. Thamizh, a B.Sc (N) IV year student delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, and organizers.

The celebration concluded with a Puja and the distribution of prasadam, spreading blessings, joy, and a sense of divine fulfillment among all present.

Day 3 of Navaratri at MAHER was a seamless blend of faith and festivity, embodying the institution’s commitment to preserving spiritual and cultural traditions while fostering a sense of community and shared celebration.
