On December 20th, 2023, the Department of Mathematics at MAHER – FHS conducted an enlightening Faculty Development Programme in a hybrid mode to commemorate National Mathematics Day.The Resource Persons Dr. L. Shobana, Associate Professor, SRM University Kattankulathur and Dr. K. Selvakumari, Associate Professor, Saveetha Engineering College (SIMATS) delivered the presentation on “Recent Trends in Mathematics and its Association with various Disciplines”. This FDP served as a platform to enrich knowledge about research among the participants. A total of 56 faculty members actively participated representing various departments from MAHER – FHS, FYST and other esteemed colleges. The insightful presentations by our distinguished speakers contributed significantly to the understanding of recent developments in mathematics and their relevance across diverse academic disciplines.
