The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS), MAHER, marked the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 26th June 2025 with a series of impactful activities aimed at spreading awareness and encouraging a drug-free lifestyle.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from AHS students and featured a rally, a pledge-taking ceremony, and a painting competition. These activities were designed to educate and engage students on the serious consequences of drug abuse while fostering a sense of social responsibility.
Through powerful messages, creative artworks, and united voices, the students demonstrated their commitment to making informed choices, supporting recovery, and contributing to a healthier, safer society. The day served as a strong reminder of the importance of collective efforts in combating substance abuse and promoting mental and physical well-being.
