FAHS Observes World Blood Donor Day 2025

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS), MAHER, observed World Blood Donor Day on 16th June 2025 with meaningful activities aimed at promoting awareness about voluntary blood donation. The event was organized by the NSS Unit of FAHS in alignment with this year’s theme, “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives.”

As part of the observance, a poster competition was held to creatively highlight the importance of blood donation. Students showcased impactful messages through their artwork, underscoring the vital role that donors play in saving lives.

In addition, students took a pledge to support and advocate voluntary blood donation, reinforcing their commitment to encouraging life-saving contributions within their communities.

The event also witnessed active participation of students in blood donation, reflecting their dedication to the cause and their role as responsible healthcare professionals of the future.

The programme successfully combined awareness, advocacy, and action – instilling a sense of purpose and community responsibility among participants.
