Meenakshi College of Pharmacy, Thandalam, celebrated the Festival of Lights – Diwali with great enthusiasm and joy on 17th October 2025 at the Seminar Hall. The celebration commenced with the lighting of the traditional Kuthuvilakku and Agal Vilakku by the Principal, faculty members, and students, marking the auspicious beginning of the event. The radiant glow of the lamps symbolized the triumph of light over darkness and goodness over evil.
The programme featured a delightful array of cultural and entertainment performances, including dances, songs, skits, and fun games presented by the students. Their vibrant performances filled the hall with festive cheer and showcased their talent, creativity, and teamwork. Faculty members also joined in the celebrations, adding warmth and togetherness to the occasion.
The event carried a thoughtful message of eco-friendly celebrations, encouraging everyone to embrace a “Green Diwali” by avoiding crackers and spreading happiness through light, unity, and compassion.
