Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) welcomed a distinguished delegation from Volgograd State Medical University, Russia, and the Russian House on 12th May, 2025, at 11:30 AM. The visit took place at the MAHER campus and was aimed at fostering academic and cultural collaboration between the institutions.
The delegation included Mr. Alexander Dodonov, Director – Russian House, Mr. Basha, Senior Officer for Cultural & Relations – Russian House, and Ms. Natalia Alshuk, Head of the International Relations Department – Volgograd State Medical University.
The event began with a warm reception and an introduction to the goals of the visit, focusing on mutual areas of academic interest, the exchange of best practices, and the exploration of collaborative opportunities in research, education, and culture.
A series of discussions were held between the visiting dignitaries and MAHER’s senior faculty and administration. The conversations revolved around building cooperative frameworks for joint initiatives, academic exchange programs, and long-term partnerships that would benefit students and faculty from both institutions.
The delegation expressed keen interest in MAHER’s academic programs and infrastructure, while MAHER leadership highlighted the institution’s ongoing efforts toward internationalization and global engagement.
