Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) activity was observed as a Gram Sabha meeting addressing the issues in each ward of Parandhur village. The meeting is headed by President Mr. Balaraman and Vice president Mrs. Nithya Ramadoss. On behalf of the UBA cell of MMCH&RI, Dr.Pandiyan (UBA Co-coordinator), Post Graduates-Dr. Suganya, Dr. Srinath, Dr. Dharani, Dr. Harish, Dr. Dinesh and 15 CRMI’s from the department of community medicine attended the meeting. The village head, the village-vice head, Panchayat Clerk, VHN, Anganwadi and School teachers attended the meeting. A total of 50 general public attended the meeting. The meeting proceeded with the government order regarding the fund allocation for the infrastructure development of schools and also to make sure that there are no dropouts from government schools and Betterment of Road facilities and street lights in the village on 15-August-2024.
Various issues have been discussed and among which the following are prioritized.
- Infrastructure development of schools.
- Tar road issues
- Street Light issues
- Chlorination of the water tanks
- Water stagnant during rainy season
- Mosquito Menace
