The II Year B.Pharmacy students of Meenakshi College of Pharmacy, undertook an industrial visit to Orbion Pharma, located at Irungattukottai, as part of their academic enrichment programme.
During the visit, students were introduced to various aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing, including production processes, quality control measures, and regulatory compliance practices followed in the industry. The technical team at Orbion Pharma provided insights into Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), documentation procedures, and the importance of maintaining stringent quality standards in drug formulation and packaging.
The industrial exposure enabled students to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical applications, enhancing their understanding of real-time pharmaceutical operations and industry expectations. The visit proved to be an informative and professionally enriching experience for the budding pharmacy graduates.
