The Central Research Laboratory (CRL) of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER) had the privilege of hosting an academic visit by Dr. Avneesh Chopra (Dr. rer. nat.), Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Department of Periodontology, Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery, Germany, on 07 January 2025. The visit marked an important moment of international academic engagement and provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and collaborative dialogue.
Dr. Chopra was formally welcomed by Dr. Arunagirinathan, Dean of Research, and Dr. Preethi, Associate Dean of Research, MAHER. The visit commenced with a guided tour of the Central Research Laboratory, during which the advanced research infrastructure, state-of-the-art instrumentation, core facilities, and multidisciplinary laboratory units were showcased. The tour highlighted MAHER’s strong emphasis on translational research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
