Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education & Research in association with IPR Cell, Innovation & Incubation Centre, Institution’s Innovation Council & Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized MAHER – SDG Challenge Ideathon on 26th April 2024 in the seminar hall of Innovation & Incubation Centre, MAHER. The official theme for World Intellectual Property Day 2024 is ‘IP and the Sustainable Development Goals: Building Our Common Future with Innovation and Creativity’. 32 innovative ideas were received for the challenge from students and faculty of our prestigious organization, of which 12 best ideas were shortlisted by a set of eminent evaluators and each team had pitched their ideas with a 5 minute presentation before our distinguished evaluator Ms. Anbumathi, who is a Design Thinking expert, Founder of Resources Life Science & Head – Business Strategies of inDERMA Medical Devices during the morning session on 26th April 2024. Of the 12 teams, 3 best mind boggling innovative ideas were selected and given a seed grant of Rs. 20,000 per idea and also providing opportunity to develop their innovative ideas into real time products or services with the help of our IPR Cell and Innovation and Incubation Centre.
