MAHER University organized an Awareness Training Programme on ISO 50001:2018 – Energy Management System (EnMS) on 27th February 2026 for ISO Coordinators and members of the Maintenance Team.
The session was conducted by ISDE Academy and facilitated by Mr. Rajalingam, who delivered a comprehensive orientation on the requirements of ISO 50001:2018 and the systematic implementation of the Energy Management System within the institution. The training emphasized key components such as energy performance improvement, statutory and legal compliance, energy conservation strategies, documentation protocols, and the defined roles and responsibilities of the ISO team in strengthening EnMS practices across the campus.
A total of 30 participants attended the programme and actively engaged in the interactive deliberations. The session enhanced their understanding of structured energy management practices and reinforced the institution’s commitment to sustainable energy utilization, regulatory compliance, and continual improvement in environmental performance.
