The spirit of Navaratri shone bright at MAHER on September 23, 2025, as Meenakshi College of Arts and Science (MCAS) led the Day 2 celebrations at the MAHER Auditorium. The event carried the blessings of Founder Chancellor Thiru. A.N. Radhakrishnan, M.A., D.Com, and was graced by the presence of Mrs. R. Gomathi, Chief Patron; Mrs. Jayanthi Radhakrishnan, Chancellor; Prof. Dr. C. Sridhar, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Dr. C. Krithika, Pro Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Dr. V. Sureka, Registrar; Dr. P. Sagayaraj, Dean, MCAS – MAHER; and Dr. N. Prabhavathy Devi, Principal, Shift II, MCAS – MAHER.
The evening radiated cultural vibrance and devotion as students of MCAS celebrated Goddess Brahmacharini, symbolizing penance, spiritual strength, and inner purity. Soulful devotional songs set a serene tone, while students dressed as gods and goddesses brought mythology to life. Graceful traditional dances showcased the talent and enthusiasm of the students, filling the auditorium with festive energy.
By blending spirituality with youthful creativity, the celebrations highlighted the values of devotion, cultural pride, and community spirit. The program was coordinated by Mrs. S. Malarvizhi and Mrs. R. Arivukkodi, faculty members of MCAS, stood as a memorable part of MAHER’s Navaratri festivities.
