The Department of Cardiac Perfusion Technology at Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences (MCAHS), MAHER, celebrated World Heart Day on 29th September 2025, aiming to raise awareness and educate students on critical cardiovascular health issues.
The event was graced by Principal Dr. V. Ramnath, who emphasized the importance of expertise, vigilance, and awareness in ensuring patient survival and recovery in clinical settings. Students actively participated in educational sessions, poster presentations, model displays, and team-building activities, showcasing their knowledge and engagement with the theme.
A special recognition ceremony highlighted the exceptional contributions of cardiac team members, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to patient care. The event was a collaborative success, bringing together multidisciplinary teams—including surgeons and anaesthesiologists—demonstrating unity and appreciation for the cardiac profession. The Vice Principal of AHS and faculty members also actively participated, adding value and insight to the celebrations.
