Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences Students Participate in NDRF Medical Camp at Thakkolam

Students of III Year B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. Cardiovascular Technology, and B.Sc. Physician Assistant from Meenakshi College of Allied Health Sciences actively participated in a General Medical Camp organized by the **National Disaster Response Force> – 04th Battalion, conducted at Thakkolam on 26th February 2026. The camp was organized with the objective of providing essential medical screening and healthcare support to the local community.

During the camp, students worked under the supervision of medical professionals and contributed to various clinical and outreach activities. They assisted in patient registration, vital signs monitoring, basic health assessments, and community health education. Their involvement enabled them to gain valuable hands-on clinical exposure while interacting directly with patients from the community.

The programme provided an important platform for students to apply their academic knowledge in real-world healthcare settings, while also strengthening their communication skills and professional confidence. Participation in such community-oriented initiatives further nurtured a strong sense of social responsibility and empathy among the students.
