Meenakshi College of Arts and Science Hosts Guest Lecture on “Promoting Entrepreneurship through Traditional Foods

The MAHER Innovation and Incubation Cell in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Meenakshi College of Arts and Science organized an inspiring Guest Lecture on “Promoting Entrepreneurship through Traditional Foods” on 26th September 2025.

The session featured Mrs. Menaka, Founder of Mannvasani Traditional Foods, Chennai, as the resource person. She shared her valuable insights on the importance of reviving traditional foods, the vast entrepreneurial potential within this domain, and how innovation can play a key role in promoting healthy and sustainable food practices in modern society.

Students gained awareness about the significance of integrating cultural heritage with business opportunities, particularly in the fields of traditional and organic food ventures. The talk encouraged them to embrace entrepreneurship as a means of preserving tradition while contributing to community wellness.

The program was effectively coordinated by Mrs. R. Anuradha and Mrs. S. Malarvizhi, marking a successful initiative that blended entrepreneurship, culture, and sustainability.
