Meenakshi College of Arts and Science Observes Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 with Creative and Impactful Activities

Meenakshi College of Arts and Science, a constituent of Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), observed Swachhata Pakhwada 2025 on 15th September 2025 with a series of activities designed to foster cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental responsibility among students.

The celebration began with a Swachhata Thematic Painting Competition on the theme “Clean India – Green India”. Students enthusiastically showcased their creativity through artworks that reflected their commitment to sustainability and highlighted the shared responsibility of building a cleaner and greener nation.

This was followed by a Mass Swachhata e-Pledge, where faculty and students took an online pledge reaffirming their dedication to maintaining cleanliness within the campus and in public spaces. Adding to the momentum, a Swachhata Rally was organized, with students carrying banners and raising slogans to spread awareness about sanitation, hygiene, and environmental protection in the community.

These activities not only inspired participants but also echoed the vision of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, marking the 10th year of Swachhata Pakhwada with renewed energy and purpose. The program was successfully coordinated by Dr. R. Shanthi and Mrs. S. Malarvizhi, UGC Activities Coordinators.
