The Department of Management Studies, Meenakshi College of Arts & Science, organized an industrial visit to Mafoi Business Consultancy on 15th and 16th October 2025. As part of this initiative, students also visited CIEL HR Services at their Ambattur branch, providing them with valuable real-world exposure to professional consultancy operations.
The session was conducted by Ms. Sethu Lakshmi, who delivered an engaging and informative presentation on the functions and structure of the Human Resource Department in a business consultancy. Students gained insights into recruitment processes, talent acquisition strategies, HR analytics, and client engagement practices, thereby connecting classroom learning with practical applications in the corporate sector.
A total of 90 students participated over the two days and benefited immensely from the visit, which helped them understand the core aspects of HR consultancy, industry expectations, and career opportunities in management and human resources. The visit served as a valuable platform for students to enhance their professional awareness and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practice.
