On 7th August 2025, the third-year B.Sc. (N) students of Meenakshi College of Nursing(MCON) organized an engaging Mini-Exhibit on Addictive Psychiatry at the MCON auditorium. Conducted as part of Elective Module II, the event aimed to deepen understanding of addictive disorders while fostering interactive learning.
The students, divided into eight groups, presented a variety of creative displays including models, informative charts, crossword puzzles, a gratitude jar, “foretelling four cups,” and a DIY craft tree illustrating the signs and symptoms of alcoholism. Each group worked diligently to communicate their assigned topics effectively, combining academic knowledge with innovative presentation techniques.
The exhibits were viewed by the entire faculty, with Principal Dr. Fabiola M. Dhanaraj personally reviewing the presentations. She commended the students for their dedication and creativity, while highlighting key takeaways from each display for better awareness and learning.
The event not only showcased the students’ academic proficiency and teamwork but also served as a valuable platform for raising awareness about addictive psychiatry.
