On the occasion of World Alzheimer’s Day 2025, the Department of Community Medicine, Meenakshi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute (MMCHRI) organized a health education session at Kumaran Old Age Home, Enathur.
The program aimed to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, its clinical presentation, available treatment options, and preventive strategies. The interactive session was conducted by postgraduate students and CRMIs, who engaged the elderly residents with practical information and guidance.
Such initiatives highlight the importance of community awareness and preventive measures in managing Alzheimer’s disease effectively.
