Medical Education Unit, Meenakshi Medical College Hospital & Research Institute (MMCH&RI) conducted Post Graduate Induction Program from 13.02.2025 to 15.02.2025. Day 1 (February 13th, 2025) began with an inaugural address by Prof. Dr. K.V. Rajasekhar, Dean followed by Code of Ethics by Dr. J .Jaganmohan, Surgical Director and PG Regulations including DRP by Dr. K. Srinivasagalu, Medical Director. Day 1 focused heavily on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). The sessions covered standard and transmission-based precautions, device-associated infections, and surveillance. Day 2 (February 14th, 2025) broadened the scope to include research, emergency response, and safe prescription practices. The program featured a diverse faculty from various departments, including Medical Education, Surgery, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Anesthesiology, Forensic Medicine, and the Blood Bank. This ensured a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to the training. The third day began with a session dedicated to the mental health and well-being of postgraduate students, highlighting the program’s commitment to supporting their overall health followed by a session on clinical radiology. A significant portion of the day was dedicated to orienting students to various essential committees. The program concluded with a feedback session, a post-test to assess learning outcomes, and a valedictory ceremony marking the completion of the training program.
