The Centre for Global Health Research, MAHER, in collaboration with the Departments of Biochemistry, Pathology, and Microbiology of Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute (MMCHRI), successfully conducted a workshop on “Good Clinical Laboratory Practices” from 10th to 12th June 2025.
This three-day workshop was designed to enhance understanding and implementation of best practices in clinical laboratory settings. Key focus areas included laboratory safety, quality assurance, standard operating procedures, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Participants benefited from a series of expert-led sessions, interactive discussions, and hands-on training modules aimed at improving technical skills and reinforcing ethical laboratory practices. The programme also emphasized the critical role of laboratory professionals in supporting accurate diagnostics and overall healthcare delivery.
The workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of clinical laboratory protocols, equipping participants with practical skills and updated knowledge essential for ensuring reliable and high-quality laboratory outcomes.
