The II Year B.Sc (N) students of Arulmigu Meenakshi College of Nursing (AMCON), MAHER, celebrated World Book and Copyright Day on 23rd April 2025. The event began with Tamizhthaai Vaazhthu and a welcome address by Ms. B. Roshini, followed by a special address by Dr. Prof. Victor Devasirvadam, Principal, AMCON.
Prof. Dr. M. Raghavendean, Vice Principal, spoke on the History of World Book and Copyright Day, while students from various years highlighted the benefits of reading. Mr. V. Panchanathan, Librarian, and Chief Guest Mr. A. Balaraman, Retired TET Drawing Teacher, also addressed the gathering.
Prizes were distributed to winners of the elocution, essay, and drawing competitions. The event, which benefited over 100 students, concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
