The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, MAHER, proudly celebrated World Perfusion Week on May 7th, 2025, with a vibrant and insightful event aimed at raising awareness about the vital role of perfusionists in modern healthcare. The celebration highlighted the dedication, technical expertise, and critical contributions of these healthcare professionals in cardiac and surgical care.
In his inaugural address, Principal Dr. V. Ramnath emphasized the indispensable role of perfusionists, commending their vigilance, skill, and commitment to patient survival and recovery in high-stakes clinical settings. The event served as an educational platform, enlightening students and medical staff alike about the multifaceted responsibilities of perfusion professionals.
