On March 28, 2024, the vibrant grounds of the Faculty of Humanities and Science and Physical Education came alive with the spirited energy of IGNITE-2024, a collaborative sports day that brought together all the students for a day of friendly competition and community building.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from teams representing different facets of our academic community. The teams—Achievers, Believers, Chasers, and Defenders—embodied the spirit of sportsmanship as they competed in a variety of outdoor and indoor games. Out on the field, the games of throw ball, tennikoit, and Kabbadi showcased athleticism, teamwork, and determination, while indoors, strategic minds clashed in intense battles of chess and carrom board. At the culmination of the day’s events, the deserving winners were honoured with certificates, recognizing their exceptional performance and sportsmanship. Beyond the thrill of victory, IGNITE-2024 served as a platform for fostering friendships, promoting physical well-being, and strengthening the bonds within our academic community.
