On the occasion of World Diabetes Day November 14, 2024, Diabetes screening and awareness camp was conducted on 15/11/2024 in Siruvakkam village by the Department of Community Medicine, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Scheme, National Service Scheme. The event started with screening of FBS and PPBS estimation, blood pressure monitoring for the general public followed by Health education on the topic of ‘Awareness and diet practices for Diabetics’ with the theme of “Breaking barriers, Bridging gaps”.
