Valedictory Ceremony of Tally Value Added Course at MAHER

The Valedictory Ceremony for the Tally Value Added Course, conducted in collaboration with ICA, Palakkad, was successfully held at Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER). The event marked the culmination of a comprehensive skill-based training program aimed at enhancing students’ employability and industry readiness.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional Thamizhthai Vazhthu, followed by the lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, symbolizing knowledge, growth, and new beginnings.

The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished dignitaries. Dr. V. Surekha, Registrar, MAHER, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the university’s continued commitment to professional development. Rtn. Tarun Agrawal, President of the Rotary Club of Chennai Kilpauk, emphasized the transformative power of education and community service. Dr. Abhilash Bhaskaran, Vocational Service Director, Rotary, provided an insightful orientation on Rotary’s outreach and impact. Rtn. Velu Muthu, Founder Member of the Rotary Club, shared perspectives on bridging the gap between academia and industry through chartered accountancy and practical training programs.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Anitha K., Placement Officer, MAHER, who acknowledged the contributions of all stakeholders and congratulated the participants.

A total of 100 students were awarded certificates, celebrating their successful completion of this hands-on, industry-relevant training.
