The Chief Guest, Dr. Paulraj Seenidurai, Principal, Atthi Nursing College, spoke on “The Importance and Roles of Nursing in the Future,” while Guest of Honour Ms. Magdalene Thangam, Senior Deputy Nursing Superintendent, gave an impassioned address on the evolving landscape of the nursing profession.

The ceremony’s most poignant moment was the symbolic candle-lighting, where students lit their lamps from the Florence Nightingale lamp, followed by the Nightingale Pledge, affirming their commitment to care, ethics, and service.

A dedication song by the students and a prize distribution ceremony recognizing academic achievers added a celebratory note to the occasion. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Srimathi, Assistant Professor, and the National Anthem.
